ABOUT
Hello!
We are a home-based certified family childcare home which strives to provide an excellent foundation and trustworthy environment for your child in which they will grow wise and learn to their full potential. Royal Owl Academy offers a comfortable setting that your child can easily adapt to. We provide love, to each child and our responsible caregiver is wise and has been trained in infant to school age childcare, has on the job experience, and various of childcare education classes. We are mandated reporters of child abuse and will report!
Along with being a home-based childcare we provide a setting that is not considered babysitting, but a family kind of environment that is a second home, that builds relationships with a bunch of wee and wise people who partner and trust each other and love.

Guidance and Discipline
Positive discipline methods are non-punitive. In the event that your child exhibits negative or harmful behavior, the staff will make every effort to redirect her/his actions toward a positive behavior. Positive discipline provides skills to help children think for themselves, become responsible and have respect for themselves and others around them. If negative behavior continues after redirected or is harmful to other children the child will be removed from group and a parent conference will be made to discuss positive alternatives

The director has been working with children for more than ten years. She is the owner and director of the Royal Owl Academy and is dedicated to providing an excellent learning environment for children. She has:

Some staff members are volunteers who just want to give back to the community by working with children. All staff and volunteers have background check and are registered with the state.
